Odessa National Medical University Has Received the Order and the Title of the Best Enterprise of Ukraine in 2019

Odessa National Medical University has received the Order of the Leader of Ukraine and the national diploma “The Best Enterprise of Ukraine-2019”. The awards ceremony took place during the solemn assembly for Independence Day of Ukraine at Mariinsky Palace in Kiev.
Honorary awards were given by the Directorate-General of the All-Ukrainian Research Center for Effective Governance together with the Council of Experts of the International Program “Leaders of the 21st Century” for the dynamic development of the university and its achievements in higher education and science.
A.i.Rector of Odessa National Medical University, Yurii Sukhin, thanked for the distinction and international recognition of the University’s successes: “Odessa Medical University is following the path of sustainable development and these rewards are another testimony. I consider them joint achievements of many thousands of staff, so first of all I want to thank my colleagues, scientists and teachers for their work. Special thanks to the Chairman of the Academic Council of our University, Academician Valerii Zaporozhan, who headed our institution for more than 20 years, and those peaks that the university has reached today are his credit.”
Odessa National University has had its history since 1900. Today, it is one of the best institutions of higher education in Ukraine that trains professionals at the highest international standards. It is a member of international and European associations of universities. Students from more than 50 countries study at ONMedU.
