From the 2nd to the 4th of October 2019, the 7th Congress of the Scientific Society of Anatomists, Histologists, Embryologists, Topographic Anatomists (AGET) of Ukraine will be held on the basis of the Odessa National Medical University. The Organizing Committee of the Congress is preparing sectional meetings, a “Round Table” dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of the world’s first woman, professor of anatomy G. A. Krasuska, is planning cultural and entertainment programs. The highlight of the excursion program, of course, is the visit to the Anatomical Museum ONMedU, which is more than a hundred years old. No medical university in the post-Soviet space has so many preparations – more than 2 thousand! Similar museums are available only at Vienna Medical University and British Medical College. All visitors to the Anatomical Museum of ONMedU are fascinated by the level of preparation ьфлштп, their extraordinary cognitive and educational value.
The uniqueness of the museum in its authenticity. Odessa Medical University stores the memory of the luminaries who laid the foundations for the study of anatomy, created the prerequisites for encouraging future entrants and the motivation for creative research for students. All oak shelves for exhibits are over 100 years old, and they are still in excellent condition and maintain the spirit of those times, create an academic atmosphere! Recently, the museum was given additional lighting, which further emphasized the exclusivity of the presented anatomical objects.
I am sure that all the participants of the Congress will be happy to spend time in the Anatomical Museum of ONMedU. And those interested in the structure of their organism in Odessa and visitors to our city can visit the museum, in advance, calling the museum attendant Natalia Anatolievna Antonova (tel. 0633547515) in advance.
