The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 14195 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 08, 2020 there are 14195 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 361 lethal, 2706 patients recovered. During the day, 504 new cases have been recorded.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region – 514 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  424 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 652 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  91 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 480 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 644 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   312  cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1078 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 408 cases;
▪City of Kiev –1721 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 935 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 660 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 42 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 179 cases;
▪Odessa region –  583 cases;
▪Poltava region – 239 cases;
▪Rivne region – 855 cases;
▪Sumy region – 147 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 959 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 478 case;
▪ Kherson region – 149 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 148 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –2097cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 331 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 69 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the 8, 2020, the Center received 1148 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 37052 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
