In Ukraine, 12697 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 05, 2020 there are 12697 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 316 lethal, 1875 patients recovered. During the day, 366 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 454 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 343 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 478 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 83 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 448 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 546 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 287 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1015 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 401 cases;
▪City of Kiev –1583 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 866 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 514 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 38 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 163 cases;
▪Odessa region – 469 cases;
▪Poltava region – 231 cases;
▪Rivne region – 779 cases;
▪Sumy region – 112 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 923 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 377 case;
▪ Kherson region – 142 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 119 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –1948 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 314 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 64 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 5, 2020, the Center received 1041 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 33311 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
