In Ukraine, 9866 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on April 29, 2020 there are 9866 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 250 lethal, 1103 patients recovered. During the day, 456 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 412 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 271 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 323 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 52 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 357 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 403 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 228 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 821 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 377 cases;
▪City of Kiev –1341 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 643 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 405 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 33 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 116 cases;
▪Odessa region – 261 cases;
▪Poltava region – 188 cases;
▪Rivne region – 588 cases;
▪Sumy region – 98 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 708 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 237 case;
▪ Kherson region – 111 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 81 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –1489 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 282 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 41 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 29, 2020, the Center received 1230 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 27846 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
