The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 5 469 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 20, 2020 there are 309 107 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 5 786 lethal, 129 533 patients have recovered. During the day, 5 469 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 847 376 PCR tests have been performed. 3 044 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 8 523 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 11 164 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 11 393 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 7 389 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 10 471 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 11 956 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 6 616 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 16 987 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 642 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 31 310 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 13 166 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 25 392 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 2 576 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 6 053 cases;
▪Odessa region – 19 343 cases;
▪Poltava region – 6 300 cases;
▪Rivne region – 16 184 cases;
▪Sumy region – 9 321 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 17 738 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 29 559 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 2 629 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 11 239 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 18 081 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 7 095 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 6 980 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 20, 2020, the Centre received 6 039 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 379 315 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
