MOH. Latest information of 2.10.2020

The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 4 633 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 2, 2020 there are 217 661 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 4 261 lethal,  96 591 patients have recovered. During the day,    4 633  new cases have been recorded. A total of    2 337 942 PCR tests have been performed.   2 193 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region –    6 452 cases;
▪ Volyn region –    8 325 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 6 422 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  3 650 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region –    6 265 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 10 004 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –     4 284 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 13 968 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region –  1 141  cases;
▪City of Kiev –   23 602 cases;
▪ Kyiv region –   9 428 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 20 826 cases;
▪Lugansk region –  1 140 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 3 369 cases;
▪Odessa region –  14 069 cases;
▪Poltava region – 2 512 cases;
▪Rivne region – 12 770 cases;
▪Sumy region –  4 677 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 13 996  cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 19 588 cases;
▪ Kherson region –   1 250 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region –  6 432 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 14 787 cases;
▪Cherkasy region –  4 295 cases;
▪Chernihiv region –  4 409 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 02. 2020, the Centre received 4 856 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of   284 500 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
