Firefighting Instruction and Training Emergency Evacuation for ONMedU Students

In order to enhance fire safety measures at Odessa National Medical University, on December 23 and December 24, 2019, students were instructed on the subject of fire safety in the territories of all ONMedU dormitories. An expert of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in an accessible form told how to act when you find yourself in such an extreme situation and what actions are prohibited.

University students and staff were able to see firsthand how to use fire extinguishers and see how different they can be.

During the training, a firefighting evacuation from the dormitories in emergency situations was completed, during which everyone was evacuated fairly quickly.

Further on the plan of strengthening of fire protection in ONMedU are duty shifts in hostels during the New Year holidays.
