Standardized clinical trainings “Basic Life Support in Children (PBLS)”

Together with the International Medical Corps (IMC) Representative Office in Ukraine, Odesa National Medical University continues its work on teaching emergency pre-medical and medical care.

Thus, during November and December 2024, certified instructors of the Departments of Simulation Medical Technologies and Propaedeutics of Pediatrics, as part of the continuation of fruitful cooperation between Odesa National Medical University and International Medical Corpus, conducted standardized clinical trainings “Basic Life Support in Children (PBLS)” for medical staff of outpatient clinics in the cities of Mykolaiv and Chernihiv. Also, for the first time, clinical trainings “Introduction to Clinical Management of Rape and Intimate Partner Violence (Induction CMR/IPV)” were conducted for medical staff of outpatient clinics in the cities of Mykolaiv and Chernihiv.

Certified trainers – employees of ONMedU departments were involved in teaching the trainings: Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Propaedeutics of Pediatrics Tetyana KHIMENKO, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies Vasyl GLADCHUK, Assistant Professor of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies Dmytro KARAKONSTANTIN, Assistant Professor of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies Vyacheslav ONISHCHENKO, Assistant Professor of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies Yulia BELOZERTSEVA — BARANOVA.

We plan to continue our effective cooperation with the IMC and conduct training for medical professionals, teachers and all interested parties within the framework of international cooperation!
