An online meeting of rectors of higher medical education institutions was held, which was attended by representatives of departments of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Testing Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as well as rectors of all universities working under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The meeting addressed the issue of organizing the educational process for foreign students, taking into account the situation in the country and the recommendations of the embassies of countries whose citizens study at medical universities.
It was decided to transfer the educational process into a mixed form, depending on whether students stay in the country.
So, foreign students who stay in Ukraine will study offline. Those who want to go home must formally apply to the dean’s office and study remotely. The terms of distance learning will be published in addition. Third and final year students who have to pass KROK-1 and KROK-2 licensing exams, as well as those who need to retake the exams, will have to return to Ukraine within the time required to prepare and take the exams.
