The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 7 474 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 28, 2020 there are 363 075 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 6 755 lethal, 148 642 patients have recovered. During the day, 7 474 new cases have been recorded. A total of 3 129 235 PCR tests have been performed. 3 306 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 9 697 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 12 871 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 13 915 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 9 024 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 13 154 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 13 571 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 8 852 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 19 247 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 2 212 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 35 450 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 15 465 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 28 484 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 3 416 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 7 317 cases;
▪Odessa region – 23 207 cases;
▪Poltava region – 8 639 cases;
▪Rivne region – 18 299 cases;
▪Sumy region – 10 974 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 19 818 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 34 441 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 3 454 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 14 228 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 20 509 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 8 539 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 8 292 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 28, 2020, the Centre received 8 145 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 435 812 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
