In Ukraine, 6592 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on April 22, 2020 there are 6592 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 174 lethal, 424 patients recovered. During the day, 467 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 349 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 176 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 150 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 16 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 287 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 218 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 141 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 589 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 251 cases;
▪City of Kiev –989 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 390 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 256 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 26 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 82 cases;
▪Odessa region – 148 cases;
▪Poltava region – 116 cases;
▪Rivne region – 353 cases;
▪Sumy region – 86 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 471 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 82 case;
▪ Kherson region – 72 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 54 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 1053 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 206 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 13 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 21, 2020, the Center received 1117 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 19649 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
