In Ukraine, 1892 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on April 9, 2020 there are 1892 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 57 lethal, 45 patients recovered. During the day, 224 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 102 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 38 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 41 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 11 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 31 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 51 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 47 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 218 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 78 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 300 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 130 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 61 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 3 cases;
▪Odessa region – 43 cases;
▪Poltava region – 19 cases;
▪Rivne region – 64 cases;
▪Sumy region – 56 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 169 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 5 case;
▪ Kherson region – 18 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 16 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 302 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 80 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 9 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 9, 2020, the Center received 696 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 7901 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
