On December 14, 2021, a joint meeting of the Department of Internal Medicine № 1 with the course of Cardiovascular Pathology and the Department of Internal Medicine № 2 took place remotely.
This time the meeting focused on topics related to modern cardiology. Liana Burmistrova, a 6th-year student of the 19th group, prepared a report on “Broken Heart Syndrome”, and a young scientist, cardiologist, former head of the SSS Department of Internal Medicine № 1, Mykhailo Pavliuchok made a report “Dilated cardiomyopathy”.
Those present at the meeting were interested in the topics of the meeting, asked many questions and shared their views on the management of patients with the above diseases.
Leaders of the SSS, Candidate of Medical Sciences associate professor Potapchuk Oleksandr Vasyliovych and Candidate of Medical Sciences associate professor Perepelyuk Mykola Mykolayovych, noted the high level of training of the speakers and enthusiastically took part in the discussion.
At the end of the meeting, information was provided on the scientific-practical conference with international participation “Modern theoretical and practical aspects of clinical medicine” (for students and young scientists), which will be held on April 14-15, 2022. This time the conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous cardiac surgeon, Nobel Prize winner who performed the world’s first heart transplant, Christian Barnard.
