In 2006, Rector of Odessa National Medical University academician Natiniol Academy Medicine Science Ukraine V.M. Zaporozhan initiated a university dental clinic. The idea of ​​the rector of a new dental clinic was opened in Odessa in a specialized treatment facility at the University, to be the base of the Department of Children’s Dentistry, for providing top quality dental care to children and Odessa region.

In late 2010, according to the letter of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine from 01.11.2010 № 11.01-29/1139 by the structure of the Odessa National Medical University dental clinic was introduced “Medical Center Children’s Dental Health MCCDH.”

Medical Center Children’s dental health – the first university clinic in the South of Ukraine was created to provide highly specialized dental and orthodontic care for children on the principle of family medicine.

“Medical Center Children’s Dental Health” – a dental clinic a total area of ​​nearly 1000 m, where there are 14 clinical rooms, offices of functional diagnostics, dental laboratory, lecture hall, phantom class and the necessary support facilities. Clinical rooms are equipped with modern dental equipment and are designed for taking dental patients and to conduct workshops with students.

“Medical Center Children’s Dental Health” is the base of the Department of Children’s Dentistry (chair docter of medicien science, Professor Dyenha Oksana Vasiliva) and Department of Orthodontics.
