Doctor Andzhej Malinowski (Prof., Lodz (Poland))

Dr. Andzhej Malinowski is the head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology at the Medical University in Lodz (Poland).

He received the title of full professor in 2001 as a reward from the President of Poland for his high scientific credibility and achievements.

Since 2001, he has been a professor and the head of the Department of Operative Gynecology, Endoscopy and gynecological oncology at the Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital and Research Institute in Lodz.

The Scientific path of prof. A.Malinovsky began with his studies in the 1980-1986 at the Medical Military Academy in Łódź, which he graduated from with the First Class Honors. After graduating from the academy, he specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, having received the first professional category in 1990 and the second in 1993. Since 2005, he has also been specializing in gynecologic oncology, and since 2016 – in gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine.

In 1991 A.Malinovsky was appointed the position of a doctor (with a degree of doctor of philosophy) at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Military Medical Academy in Łódź. In 1996 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Military Medical Academy in Łódź

The principal academic interests of prof. A.Malinovsky include such topics and directions as minimally invasive surgery in gynecology, urology, reproductive immunology and gynecological oncology. In these directions prof. A.Malinovsky has great professional experience and scientific authority. He is the author of 187 original works published in research journals, and 51 chapters in academic editions.

Prof. A.Malinovsky conducts a large amount of didactic work with students in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical University in Lodz. Since 2002, he has been organizing  practical courses for gynecologists on the topic of vaginal surgery (including vaginal hysterectomy and fixation of sacro-osteoarthritis), urological surgery and laparoscopic procedures on a regular basis.
