Plenary Meeting of the Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine and a research and practical conference with international participation “Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproduction: Education, Clinic, Science”

On September 21-22, 2017, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, public organization “Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine”, Odessa National Medical University, National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupik and Ukrainian State Institute of Reproductology are planning to hold a Plenary Meeting of the Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine and a research and practical conference with international participation “Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproduction: Education, Clinic, Science”.

The event will be held in the comfortable Hotel Complex “Odessa” (Ukraine, 65009, Odessa, Gagarin Plateau, 5)

As part of the conference reports of leading domestic and foreign specialists in the field of obstetrics and gynecology will be presented.

The following issues are planned to be discussed:

  • problematic issues of obstetrics in Ukraine in modern conditions;
  • analysis of maternal mortality and ways to reduce it;
  • perinatal medicine and fetal medicine;
  • achievements and problems of gynecology;
  • emergency conditions in obstetric practice: current approaches for diagnosis and treatment;
  • modern aspects of extragenital pathology;
  • anesthesiology and intensive care in obstetric practice;
  • innovative surgical techniques in gynecological clinic;
  • achievements and problems of reproductive medicine;
  • problem issues of oncogynecology;
  • women’s health at different ages;
  • problems of organization, education, training, interdisciplinary cooperation in obstetrics and gynecology.

 

As part of the event there will be a meeting of the Youth Professional Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine UNTOG (Ukrainian Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology), which is a member of the relevant European Society (ENTOG), and the scientific section for young scientists.
