ONMedU Participates in the Competition for Project Proposals within the Framework of the Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 Programme

Objective: Support of cross-border projects with an infrastructure component of up to EUR 1 million in areas of education and science support, promotion of local culture and preservation of historical heritage, accessibility and security of border regions.

Donor: Joint Operational Programme “Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020”

Grant Amount: Up to EUR 1 Million

Potential Applicants: Regional/county and local government authorities, government agencies, educational institutions, cultural institutions, public organizations, research institutions, or other organizations according to each priority registered in the Programme area.

Presence of partners from Ukraine and Romania is mandatory. Maximum number of partners is 4.

The Programme Area:

Romania: the counties of Suceava, Botosani, Satu-Mare, Maramuresh, Tulcea

Ukraine: Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Odessa regions

Priorities:

Thematic Objective 1: Supporting education, science, technology development and innovations

Priority 1.1. Institutional co-operation in education to improve availability and quality of education

Priority 1.2. Promoting and supporting research and innovation

Thematic Objective 2: Promotion of local culture and preservation of historical heritage

Priority 2.1. Preservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage

Thematic Objective 3: Improving the accessibility of regions, developing transport and communication networks and systems

Priority 3.1. Development of border transport infrastructure and information and communication technology tools

Priority 4.1. Support for the development of medical services and their availability

Priority 4.2. Support for joint actions in the prevention of natural and man-made disasters, as well as joint actions in emergencies
